The Festival offers families a once- a-year experience to have fun together on a beautiful farm in the middle of Long Island, New york.
White Post Farms of Melville, Long Island is one of the best places on Long Island for picking pumpkins. the large pumpkin patch is sure to have that perfect pumpkin you are looking for.
Spread out over more than 12 acres, the kids can pick pumpkins, go on pony rides or hayrides and enjoy inflatable rides. There are farm animals to feed and pet and lots of playgrounds to enjoy. We got fresh baked pies, candy apples or roasted corn
Here are some of the events of the Annual Fall farm Festival;
• Pumpkin Picking
It’s time to take the whole family pumpkin picking. The kids will love choosing their own pumpkin straight off the vine. Take the whole family to this huge farm and choose from hundreds of different pumpkins. The kids will enjoy picking their own pumpkins straight off the vine.
• Buddy Flip
“Yee-Hah” Guy – BUDDY FLIP! He’s one of New York’s funniest and busiest comics. He appears in comedy clubs all around the US and appears weekly on stage at the New York Comedy Club. He is THE HOST for the Farm Festival, greeting every guest with a big “Howdy, Cowboys, Cowgirls, Cowdads and Cowmoms!” Make sure your kids stop by to see Buddy shout out a big “Yee-hah!!” to everyone at the Festival.
• Rodeo Ricky
White Post Farm Talent Show auditions, but rodeo Ricky had a problem; he needs help from his friends Kelly Anne Cassidy, Jiminy Joe and YOU to help discover his hidden talent! Songs & laughs abound! Stick around as we invite kids on stage to dance with the stars of the show!
• The Hambone Express
Enjoy a first-class pig-racing experience! Each show has four races with four pigs in each race. The swinemaster assigns cheering sections with one special cheerleader each. Then you will be introduced to the celebrity contestant before the first pigs explode through the gates. The excitement builds as the pigs race to the finish line, delighting the crowd (and the winning pig, which gets an Oreo). The swinemaster introduces the special cheerleader for the winning pig and awards the cheerleader a prize.
• Magic & Comedy
Jim McClenahan will induce giggles from children and adults alike with a unique magical twist that’s fun and exciting. During our Fall Festival, Jim will bring his signature routines, original storylines, and wacky antics to White Post Farms. He is sure to delight and dazzle any audience!
• The K9 Kings flying dog show
This great show features a meet greet and pet area, dog agility, acrobatic trick routines, over ten different breeds including one of the rarest breeds and a special appearance by a famous superhero. Each show includes crowd participation, free giveaways and high energy action from start to finish.
• Boom Kaboom Game
Is a game where your kids race to the finish to burst their balloon before all the others. A fast paced game sure to get you plum tuckered out!
